The semester ticket, Germany ticket and discount ticket #

There used to be a semester ticket. This has been suspended since the Deutschlandticket was introduced.

In Bavaria, there is a reduced Deutschlandticket for students, the so-called Ermäßigungsticket.

This ticket is sold by MVG, among others, and has more benefits than our former semester ticket, as it also allows you to travel on regional transport outside the MVV network.

The Mobility Working Group, which is mainly made up of student representatives from TUM, LMU and HM, has compiled further information on this website.

After the Deutschlandticket expires, either the semester ticket will be reverted to or a successor ticket will be established - but information on this will follow when the time comes.
