Counseling Services #

You can find information about all counseling services at TUM here. You can find information about counseling services at the CIT here.

Below you will find more detailed information on advisory services that we consider important or useful:

Subject-specific counselling #

If you have any general, organizational or subject-related questions about the EI degree courses, self-management during your studies, examination matters or stays abroad, you are of course welcome to contact the student council. Otherwise, or if we are unable to help you, it is best to contact the CIT’s subject-specific advisory service.

Extra-curricular counselling #

Put an end to sexual harassment and sexism! #

Do you feel unsafe, have you been harassed, harassed, threatened or otherwise treated in an unwanted way? You don’t know how to react or what you can do about it? The contact points for sexual harassment and sexualised violence will support you! They will take your concerns seriously, listen to you and inform you, for example, about further courses of action. The following applies: nothing will be done without your consent!

You can find the contact details of the contact persons at the CIT here.

If you would prefer to speak or write to a fellow student, you can contact Johanna Weber ( johanna.weber@fs.ei.tum.de) or Julius Weber ( julius.weber@fs.ei.tum.de), who are currently the student contact persons.

In case of discrimination #

In cases of discrimination of any kind, you can contact the anti-discrimination officer at the CIT.

Do you have a disability or chronic illness? #

You can get in touch with the contact persons at the CIT as well as the TUM Central Student Advisory Service. The CIT contact persons will inform and advise you, for example, on the subject of compensation for disadvantages in examinations (e.g. longer processing time in examinations).

For other personal and psychological problems #

Are you at a loss, have money worries, need legal advice or have other personal questions and/or problems? Then the various counselling services offered by the Studierendenwerk are a good place to go for information and support!

If you need a sympathetic ear and want to talk about what’s on your mind, you can call the Nightline, a listening hotline run by students for students (anonymously if you wish).
